Handcrafted using local potatoes
From PEI Potato Fields to Your Skin
Our soap begins with potatoes grown in the rich red soil of Prince Edward Island — including culled and surplus spuds that might otherwise go to waste. We gently extract their natural juice and use it in place of water, forming a creamy, moisturizing base that’s kind to your skin.
Each bar reflects our commitment to sustainability and local agriculture — supporting Island farmers, reducing food waste, and creating a gentle soap that helps your skin glow naturally.
The benefits of Potato Juice
Topical application of raw potato (Solanum tuberosum) tissue has been traditionally used to alleviate minor skin irritation, including sunburn, burns, and inflammatory skin conditions. Folk medicine practices have also described its use in reducing skin blemishes and promoting comfort in superficial wounds; however, these effects remain largely anecdotal and lack robust clinical validation.
It's all in the spuds
Each batch of our potato soap is handcrafted in small quantities of just 18 bars. Every bar is carefully hand-cut, then air-dried and cured for more than six months before being boxed. We offer a selection of both scented and unscented varieties, each made from moisturizing, natural ingredients. Our recipes are thoughtfully developed to create a mild, nourishing soap that produces a rich lather and leaves skin feeling soft, clean, and refreshed.
