German-Canadian flutist Sibylle Marquardt began her orchestral career at the early age of 23 with some of Germany's top orchestras in Munich and Berlin. Sibylle is now an active chamber musician: she is a member of trio D'Argento with Paul Pulford, cello and Todd Yaniw, piano which is performing across Canada. Since 2018, Sibylle is teaching at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts, Halifax Canada. Pianist, Victor Hugo Morales is a professional Venezuelan musician with a training in classical piano. He has participated in many productions, recording and travelled to several countries performing piano recitals in Germany. Austria, Uruguay, Columbia and Canada. He won 1st prize in the X1 piano composition contest "Fidelio 2020" where 1560 composers from different countries participated. His piano teacher, Adele Marcus taught at the Juilliard School of Music in New York. Composer, Pieter Ijsselstein began his musical training on the piano at the age 8. Pieter also studied flute for several years during his time in High School. Pieter is primarily interested in baroque and ragtime music. He has written music for a variety of instruments and ensembles. Pieter and his wife Geraldine, an artist, own the Birchtree Gallery in Victoria, Prince Edward Island. They both graduated from Calvin College, Grand Rapids Michigan. “Pieter’s music feels like a time capsule—nostalgic and transportive, yet timeless in its ability to stir something deeply familiar.” Harrison Cohen.
